Better mental health and self-care have always been trends for the generation of millennials. Amidst the pressures of financial stability, individualistic mentality, and overall success, being happy and feeling purposeful have become primary factors for motivation. The year 2020 in particular has challenged everyone’s mental, emotional, and social well-being in ways that nobody had foreseen or been able to prepare for. As a result, taking moments to slow down, reflect, and take care of oneself has become highly emphasized throughout workspaces and social circles.


Here at COVE, we have set aside time to implement self-care into our work and school day, and we want to encourage you all to do the same. This blog was created in an effort to share our ongoing self-care practices and how they affect our mental health and social-emotional well-being since we began the organization.
