Introduction
The Community of Volunteer Educators (COVE) is a volunteer-run public service organization dedicated to providing tutoring services and educational enrichment experiences to communities in need across NYC. Our vision is to support communities by developing innovative academic programming to reduce educational inequities exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our tutors specialize in a wide range of topics that cover preK-12, including:
SCIENCE
MATH
SOCIAL STUDIES
FOREIGN LANGUAGE
and many more!
We are also able to provide alternative learning strategies for students who require accommodations!
** The gravity of current events has compelled us to think critically about our role as COVE in relation to injustice. We have compiled a list of Children's Books that address race and racism. **

COVE College Access Workshop Series
COVE is excited to present our newest offering for students and families: the 2020-2021 COVE College Access Workshop Series! In this 5-part series, students and their families will learn the basics as well as some insider tips for success from the beginning of your college search to what to do when you actually get to campus. We believe college access is not just about applying for a school, but also about understanding how to prepare to navigate college financially, academically, and socially.
Our second workshop, "FAFSA 101," originally scheduled for February 16th, has now been postponed to March.
